Executive Director

Executive Director Charlotte M. Center brings more than a decade of senior living industry experience to Discovery Commons at College Park. She is responsible for administrative and operational functions throughout our community. Prior to joining our team, Charlotte held multiple leadership positions in senior living including Executive Director, Director of Admissions, Marketing Director, Community Relations Manager and Property Manager. She has worked in Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing and is a licensed Residential Care Administrator. Charlotte brings her genuine compassion and commitment to residents and team members to our community. She has been married for 24 years to her husband, Steve, and together they share three children; Brett, Paige and Camden.


Heather Jones

Senior Lifestyle Counselor

Senior Lifestyle Counselor Heather Jones has been with Discovery Commons at College Park for a little more than one year. She has worked in the senior living industry in Indianapolis for 18 years. Her background is in social work and she enjoys helping seniors and their families. In her free time, she enjoys bike riding, yoga and being a crazy plant lady.


Sandra Bluthardt

Business Office Manager

Business Office Manager Sandra Bluthardt attended University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. She brings to Discovery Commons years of experience working with the senior community as well as the business office setting. Sandra loves the residents and her coworkers and strives to do what it takes to make residents feel at home.  She enjoys long walks, golfing and spending time with friends when she is not working.


Rosie Neel

Executive Chef

Executive Chef Rosie Neel has been an Executive Chef for over 20 years. She received her culinary degree in a little place called Mannheim, Germany. She has cooked for celebrities such as Alice Cooper, Mahammad Ali, William Shatner, Whitney Houston, Jerry Seinfeld, Lil’ Wayne, Yolanda Adams and many more. Chef Rosie believes in cooking with love and it shows through her food. When she is not working, she likes to spend time with her family on the beach.  She also loves Jesus and coffee.


Cody Tumey

Director of Facility Operations

Director of Facility Operations Cody Tumey has been part of the Discovery Commons team for about a year and oversees the community’s maintenance and housekeeping departments. He takes care of everything in your apartment from the smallest things as light bulbs to heating and cooling. Cody has a lot of experience with technology and home renovation.  In Cody’s free time, he likes spending time with his daughters. Cody and his girls can be found camping, fishing or hiking when the weather permits.

Norman Twyman

Lead Housekeeper

Lead Housekeeper Norman Twyman has been with Discovery Commons since November 2021 and feels like our community is his second home. His job duties as lead housekeeper are making sure all of our residents receive the proper cleaning in their apartments and maintaining our community spaces. Norman also helps out in other areas as needed.


Elizabeth Martin

Event and Activities Coordinator

Event and Activities Coordinator Elizabeth Martin helps out in many positions throughout the community. She went to Ivy Tech Community College and received her associate’s degree in culinary arts and hospitality management. Some of the many hats she wears in our community are housekeeper, server, cook, and event and activities coordinator. Out of all the positions she helps with, Elizabeth loves being the event and activities coordinator the most because that is when she can spend the majority of her time getting to know the residents. Listening to our residents, putting their suggestions into action, and hearing how much they enjoy events or activities really makes her day. When Elizabeth is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Mr. Pickles and Cleo, and taking them for walks at Holiday Park. When she isn’t occupied with her dogs, she also enjoys watching anime and painting.


William Reed

Activities and Transportation Coordinator

Activities and Transportation Coordinator William Reed started at our community in May 1996. He originally worked in dietary his first year and transitioned into the transportation role shortly after. After taking his tests, he received his CDL certificate and has been the transportation coordinator for the past 26 years. William loves what he does for work and it has become a big part of his life. William feels that the environment at our community has made it feel like home for him, which is why he has held his position here so long. His passion for working with residents and team members shows through every day as he is willing to jump in to any role needed in the community.

Mary Robey

Lead Concierge

Lead Concierge Mary Robey has been part of the Discovery Commons team for almost five years. She will be the one you see when you first come through the front door and helps guests find their way around the community. Mary helps communicate with residents to make sure their needs are met and shares information about the community with them. In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her three lovely grandbabies.
